Welcome to St. Louis Chinese Academy

Mission (宗旨)

St. Louis Chinese Academy is a non-profit organization with main objectives of teaching Chinese language, promoting Chinese culture and providing related services to the general public.

The school is open to anyone interested in learning Chinese language and culture, regardless of age, race, sex, religion, and national origins. Currently, the classes are held on Sunday afternoons between August and May.

聖路易中華語文學校成立於一九七八年七月八日，是聖路易市第一所中文學校，學校的宗旨為提供海外華人子女中文教育的場所及環境。本校每週日下午上課三小時，教授中華文化及中文。

Come join us! Our school will have a booth at Monsanto Hall.

"The Garden's annual celebration of Chinese arts, culture, and cuisine kicks off Saturday with the Grand Parade and a colorful, 70-foot dancing dragon. New this year is a fashion show featuring both traditional and contemporary Chinese couture. Try t’ai chi, taste tea, and learn about our own Chinese garden in this Year of the Ox, a year of prosperity through fortitude and hard work."

      聖路易中華語文學校的校長楊淑萍女士在情人節前發出一封簡訊給大家，她說「今年的七夕發生在二月，歡迎大家來學校觀賞傳統皮影戲：牛郎織女」。

      是的，中華語文學校一向除了語言的教學之外，就十分注重文化傳承方面的教育。二月，在市面上熱鬧的期待著西洋情人節的時候，楊校長提議：何不由老師們一起來籌備一台東方趣味的戲碼，讓學生和家長們過個不同凡響的情人節?
